The Lover's Tale

This is a tale from times gone by about a lover's secret meeting. It depicts the contradictions between sense and sensitivity, prudence and passion. The lovers are driven by desire, but their upbringing holds them back.

Rich in natural ingredients, jasmine and leather are the protagonists of this fragrance. Francesca Bianchi used beautiful Egyptian jasmine to create a slightly narcotic accord that pairs best with skin. In this base, a touch of castoreum was used, rendered in a sophisticated way while maintaining its animalic nuances.

The opening captures the shy yet sparkling mood of the moment they meet, with bergamot, honey, and a touch of aldehydes. A faint scent of pollen evokes early spring nights, when peach trees are in bloom and release their scent into the open air. Attraction and romance then ensnare the lovers, and a narcotic jasmine softened by a powdery rose represents this tension. Finally, passion takes over, with a sophisticated leathery finish that develops over an intense amber accord in the background.
