FRSweet Seed
Détails du produit
Bertrand Duchaufour has always been fascinated by the beauty of the tulip, particularly by the work of Robert Mapplethorpe, with his highly evocative photographs of curved tulips.
Yet this flower, so sensual, is rejected in perfumery, considered silent and unusable. Duchaufour then takes on the challenge of recreating the flower's sensuality olfactorily.
The Maureen tulip becomes his muse, with its 70cm stems and its white petals.
He discovered that it releases a subtle scent, reminiscent of the human seed, symbolizing the beginning of life, both in man and in nature. He then created a fragrance centered on raw materials that evoke its milky texture.
