Emperor Hadrian's love for his favorite Antinous was so great that he commissioned thousands of sculptures to commemorate him after his death. Like the contours of a statue, the physical and spiritual presence of the body is defined by a scented silhouette.
Here is the emperor remembering his lover: his touch and smell, the warm richness of the skin, the soft musk at the nape of his neck. Paying homage to his beloved, as Hadrian did with Antinous, this fragrance captures the memory of the skin, evoking intimacy and closeness and living in our hearts and minds as an idealized perfume.

Ambergris accord, proprietary musk accord, clary sage, Indian white pepper, coriander seed, sargassum, leather-like labdanum derivatives, Gabon okoume wood, and ambermax.
