Penhaligon's Sartorial is aeau de toilette Men's Fougère. Be enchanted by this contemporary interpretation of a classic Fougère. Traditional notes of oakmoss, tonka bean, and lavender have been exquisitely combined with woody, ozonated, metallic notes, leather notes, violet leaves, spices, and honey to create the perfect illusion of a tailor's workshop. Bertrand Duchaufour wanted to recreate the unique atmosphere of the historic Norton & Sons tailor's shop on Savile Road, London. The leather armchairs, blocks of beeswax used for weaving thread, the metallic notes of scissors, the tobacco-filled cabinets, the fine wools and soft cottons, clouds of chalk in the air, and the yellowed paper patterns. The absolute elegance of the great English tailoring tradition is reflected in this unique fragrance.
