Notturno

Like ink in the heart.

A tribute to the night, to poetry. Notturno recounts my inner journey, a dark tunnel where I can pause and reflect on the beauty of poetry, on the word engraved by the ink of life. The intoxicating notes of rum mark the path like a slap. An ethereal journey into a distant time, into imaginary, dark chambers of the mind. The heart of the perfume is enveloping, like leather wrapped around old writers' diaries; a warm scent of spices, birch, and an elegant, dark accord of leather enshrines a delicate floral scent. It is here, in this moment of the night, that the notes of Inchiostro present the poets who have marked my life: Hölderlin, Rilke, Celan, Strindberg, Dostoevsky. There is a moment in this perfume where I desired a sensual and romantic transformation; it is its earth, its foundation. The warm notes of Amber and Musk, the creamy and enveloping notes of Sandalwood, the spiritual notes of Cedarwood and Incense. The dusty and smoky memory that lingers on us is the soul of poetry. Notturno marked an important step in my journey, a perfume in which I wanted each of us to confront ourselves, the poetry that has marked our lives.
