Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, drawing on his deepest emotions, gives voice to one of the most common plants in Corsica but also one of the rarest because it is totally new to the world of perfumery: Inula Odorosa.
Inula graveolens For botanists, it's widespread throughout the Corsican scrubland and is characterized by its yellow flowers. As the hours pass, its essential oil unfolds wildly generous facets, with herbaceous yet honey-sweet scents. A scent as sunny as the color of its flowers, yet also woody, saline, and musky, like the surrounding nature.
Around this beautiful and unknown rebel, there is a retinue of all the unloved - thistles, nettles, brambles and roots - that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato calls upon to celebrate, once again, his native Corsica.
