Elisir N.3 Dark Honey is a fragrance inspired by the pharmaceutical traditions of the late 700th century, heirs to a knowledge of poisons that was as miraculous as it was obscure.
Bees were thought to be the only creatures in nature capable of generating a sweet ambrosia like honey, yet a bitter, and for some, lethal, poison. These two ingredients, combined, were for years the basis of numerous decoctions and potions.
The olfactory notes that characterize it are intoxicating, mixing the sweetness of honey with hints of leather used in book bindings.
Top notes: bergamot, grapefruit, galbanum
Heart notes: honey, leather, sage, rose
Base notes: cedarwood, vetiver, amber
