Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the Maison, spent her childhood summers in Do Son, in Ha Long Bay. The sea breeze carried with it the heady, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the delicacy and persistence of a childhood memory spent in Vietnam. A floral memory, somewhere between lightness and voluptuousness.
At the Haiphong market, tuberoses, accompanied by jasmine and ylang-ylang, are wrapped in large reed leaves for offerings.
Olfactory notes: It soars, brushing against tuberoses, in the iodine-scented sea breeze. Orange blossom and jasmine spread a veil of floral freshness. A light and persistent composition, like a reminiscence of the heart.
