Driven by the desire to share their olfactory memories, Yves Coueslant, Christiane Gautrot and Desmond Knox-Leet create the first three scented candles Diptyque: Aubépine (Hawthorn), Cannelle (Cinnamon) and Thé (Tea).

The three founders' passion for nature has given rise to an exceptional herbarium of fragrances, now comprising over fifty candles. Flowers, fruits, trees, herbs, and spices compose this living collection.

The fruit of exceptional craftsmanship, the art of perfumery meets the expertise of master wax makers. Each candle is composed of a blend of different waxes, a high-quality fragrance concentrate, and a carefully selected wick to ensure perfect diffusion and burning. A meticulous work, carried out by master wax makers in two factories, near Paris and Provence.
