The penetrating combination of ginger, dragon fruit, and blood orange invites us to open the doors to a voluptuous paradise. Created around an intense floral heart of red camellia, Sambac jasmine, and orange blossom, this creation is an ode to temptation, immortalized by the sensuality of vanilla, vetiver, and patchouli.
Camelia K is an ode to temptation inspired by Wong Kar-Wai's film In the Mood for Love. I wanted to express the feeling of repressed desire, the heat of bodies consuming each other without ever being able to find each other, which is perfectly captured in this film. Like Alexandre Dumas Fils in his book La Dame aux Camélias, I was inspired by the Camellia Japonica flower, which I discovered on a trip to Sapa, in northern Vietnam.
