The fragrance takes its name from one of the first stallions that gave rise to the current English Thoroughbred breed, Byerley. Legend has it that the brown stallion was born during a storm, which is why he was unafraid of the sound of cannons or gunshots and was a fearless warhorse.
Creating a fragrance that was both proud and sensitive was no easy task, but there was no better inspiration than the distinctive character of the powerful Byerley horse, which played a prominent role in European history. A fragrance that opens with top notes of bergamot and cardamom, then flows into a combination of woody notes that reveal a more sensual character. Overall, the perfect accord of notes reveals a rich, elegant, and lasting signature.
