Nishane hired the extraordinary French-Armenian perfumer Cecile Zarokian for ANI. Not only for its composition, but also for its story, which tells of a city torn apart by war between the Armenian and Turkish peoples, intent on sacrificing themselves as a bridge between two historically conflicting cultures. ANI also means "memory" in Turkish, and during the creation of this perfume, Cem Karabacak, the beloved friend of Murat Kutran and Mert Guzel, sadly passed away. The founders of Nishane They decided to dedicate ANI to him: "During a private event in Milan, we played this touching folk song titled 'Sari Gelin' (in Turkish) and 'Sari Gyalin' (in Armenian) to our friends from all over the world. It truly represents the cultural interactions and shared emotions of people living in the same land. Researching the inspiration for this song, we found that Armenians, Turks, and Azerbaijanis all say this song belongs to them. Music is the language of the universe, and all forms of art, including perfume creation, have no borders."
