2# Travel Note (Shukran...)

Encounters are the enchantment of life, the joy of the journey, the beauty of knowing the other.

A journey to Morocco, a hymn to joy, to the happiness of travel, and to the beauty of encounters. Shukran in Arabic means thank you. 2# travel note (shukran…) It is my personal desire to express my travels in Morocco through a perfume, a sacred ritual for the Berber people that has become the daily gesture of encounter for every traveler there: mint tea. From the very beginning, this perfume unleashes its beauty and energy in the green, aromatic, sweet, and sparkling notes of Moroccan dwarf mint; a triumph of vivacity that also involves the notes of lemon and litsea cubeba. Every gesture becomes a smile, every moment of this fragrance tells the story of an encounter; the heart continues its journey, among the aromatic notes of Moroccan chamomile and lemongrass that evoke the more Mediterranean notes of verbena. Happiness is as captivating as the Gnawa music wafting from the coast of Essaouira, its minty trail of eucalyptus insinuating itself into the narrow streets of the medina. The red of the sunset in the heart of the square of Marrakech is as warm as the sweet and earthy tobacco that envelops our senses, it is red like the warm scent of sandalwood on which the base of the perfume rests.

[ 2# travel note (Shukran…) was thought, created and arranged, listening in each of these phases to the albums: Gnaoua music from Essaouira - private collection ]
